Yanit Belachew is the Brand Manager for products covering Rare Metabolic Disorders at Nutricia North America, the medical division of Danone. She fell in love with brand marketing while completing a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University. Her career spans multiple industries from medical marketing, CPG and federal consulting during her time with Booz Allen Hamilton. In her spare time, Yanit serves on the board of directors and volunteers as the Director of Communications for Your Ethiopian Professionals, a local NGO created to Ethiopian professionals transition their careers to the US market. When she's not in a marketing role, she loves to travel, run and and get her hands dirty with DIY projects.
Rob is a partner with PwC and has over 20 years of experience specializing in Capital Markets, Banking, and Investment Management with a focus on Governance, Risk and Compliance issues and its associated technology. He has deep industry experience with financial services firms, having spent time on the fixed income trading floor, back office, and technology organizations in several managerial positions.
At his core, Rob is an innate problem solver who can often see a path to success where others cannot. He continues to bring these skills to help many organizations tackle very difficult and high profile problems, such as assisting in the bank bail outs during the financial crisis, or recovering from a significant rogue trading incident.
Rob’s thirst for life has led him across the world and across the nation in his travels. He has trekked in the jungles of Indonesia to see firsthand an orangutan with her baby. He is also methodically working his way through visiting every major league baseball stadium in North America with one of his teenage sons.
Rob has spent the last 10+ years at PwC focusing on helping his clients envision and “make real” the next evolution of performance and risk management. He is passionate about a future where the use of information will transform how businesses identify and manage their risks. This transformation is already being felt at his clients both within their business units as well as within their risk functions like enterprise and operational risk management (ERM and ORM). A big part of what makes Rob successful navigating this difficult transformation is his ability to find a practical approach to change. The combination of his hands on experience gained in the years he worked in a multitude of positions in the FS industry, coupled with his consulting experience and innate problem solving capability has led to a string of successful work and happy clients.
Founder and CEO, Karima Ladhani is committed to ending the injustice of preventable child and maternal mortality in South Asia. Ladhani is a Doctor of Science candidate in Global Health & Population at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, from which she also holds a Master of Science. Ladhani has made contributions to global health through her research and implementation work in countries such as Bangladesh, China, India, Pakistan, Kenya, and Tajikistan. Prior to Harvard, Ladhani’s nontraditional path to public health began by obtaining bachelors in Mathematics and Business Administration from the University of Waterloo.

We take 1) low-cost, evidence-based health items that target causes of preventable infant mortality; 2) curated health information that teaches safe childcare practices; and 3) package them together in an innovative, demand-generating bamboo cradle.
Cady North is an entrepreneur, investment advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. She comes from a family of small business owners and learned to balance a business checkbook at the age of 13. Now she uses her knowledge and experience to help new entrepreneurs succeed. She founded North Financial Advisors in 2015 after a career as an analyst in the financial services industry. North Financial specializes in helping women find personal financial freedom and become financially ready to start businesses. In her spare time, Cady provides free financial literacy talks to the public. Her work has been featured in Bloomberg, the Washington Post, and Forbes. She has an M.B.A. from Georgetown University and B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
Having spent her entire career in entertainment, media and communications, Amalyah has worked on every end of the business; from content production, to advertising sales, to large scale business integration. Most recently at PwC, Amalyah ran the post-merger integration of the Human Resources, Finance, and Legal departments for a $1 billion media company merger, including developing integration plans and assisting with plan execution. Prior to joining PwC, Amalyah received her M.B.A. from Georgetown University and her B.A. from New York University. She is also a painter and an avid dog-rescue advocate.
Nilam Patel is an Engineering Fellow at Space Airborne Systems, within Integrated Communications System business supporting Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) product line with a revenue of approximately $200M per year. IFF product lines serves US and international armed forces market.
Nilam received her BS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and Masters in Engineering from Loyola University in Baltimore, MD. Nilam joined Allied Signal as a Patriot Fuze Test Engineer. After 5 year, she took a 7 year sabbatical from engineering to raise her children. During this time Nilam consulted as an engineer and ran a successful small business. She reentered the engineering work force as a digital design engineer and has recently been promoted to Engineering Fellow.
Outside of work, Nilam enjoys cooking, cycling and skiing with her family. Nilam resides with her family in Towson MD.
Andrise Scott joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2011. She is a Manager in the Financial Services Advisory practice specializing in risk, internal controls, and process optimization for the public and private sectors. Most recently, Ms. Scott led the program management office (PMO) for Capital One's Sales Practices Exam and subsequent Governance Program Implementation. She also has experience designing and implementing enterprise risk management programs based on the standards established in the COSO framework and leading risk and internal control assessments for Fortune 100 companies and federal agencies.
Andrise obtained an MBA from The College of William and Mary Mason School of Business, and prior to that, worked at City National Bank supporting the Asset Management and Community Reinvestment departments. She received a Bachelor's degree in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Andrise enjoys teaching and stays involved with the community by facilitating leadership courses on various financial and entrepreneurial topics.
Ella Washington is an Organizational Psychologist providing subject matter expertise in Leadership, Diversity and Inclusion. Her research and client work focuses on women in the workplace, barriers to inclusion for diverse groups, and working with organizations to build inclusive cultures. Ella has conducted inclusiveness audits, learning workshops and strategic planning sessions with clients in order to support their goals of building a more diverse and inclusive workplace. She has partnered with Gallup clients across Retail, Manufacturing, Higher Education, Technology, Government and Non-profit industries.
Prior to joining Gallup Ella was a talent management consultant at Ernst & Young where she advised global clients on performance management, change management, learning and development and diversity. During her time there she advised clients from Oil & Gas, Financial Services, Energy, and Higher Education industries. Earlier, Ella worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago as a Diversity & Inclusion consultant. Her work focused on developing a sustainable pipeline for a diverse workforce in the Greater Chicago Area’s financial sector.
Ella earned her PhD in Organizational Behavior from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Her research was titled “When Leaning In is Not Enough” which analyzed women's leadership attainment and retention in organizations. Ella was a Phi Beta Kappa scholar at Spelman College where she graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Psychology.
Zehra Zaidi is an innovative marketing executive and sales enablement advocate. She bridges the gap between Sales & Marketing by developing a deep understanding of what sales teams want and need to be successful. Zehra is currently the Head of Marketing for Nuix North America, a technology company in Herndon, VA. Prior to that, Zehra led sales enablement at CEB (now Garter), where she launched Social Selling, and Customer Advocacy. She has also held marketing roles at Sirius XM Satellite Radio and XO Communications. Zehra has an MBA from Georgetown University, and a BA in Communications from George Mason University. She currently resides in Virginia with her husband and three daughters.
