Rob is a partner with PwC and has over 20 years of experience specializing in Capital Markets, Banking, and Investment Management with a focus on Governance, Risk and Compliance issues and its associated technology. He has deep industry experience with financial services firms, having spent time on the fixed income trading floor, back office, and technology organizations in several managerial positions.
At his core, Rob is an innate problem solver who can often see a path to success where others cannot. He continues to bring these skills to help many organizations tackle very difficult and high profile problems, such as assisting in the bank bail outs during the financial crisis, or recovering from a significant rogue trading incident.
Rob’s thirst for life has led him across the world and across the nation in his travels. He has trekked in the jungles of Indonesia to see firsthand an orangutan with her baby. He is also methodically working his way through visiting every major league baseball stadium in North America with one of his teenage sons.
Rob has spent the last 10+ years at PwC focusing on helping his clients envision and “make real” the next evolution of performance and risk management. He is passionate about a future where the use of information will transform how businesses identify and manage their risks. This transformation is already being felt at his clients both within their business units as well as within their risk functions like enterprise and operational risk management (ERM and ORM). A big part of what makes Rob successful navigating this difficult transformation is his ability to find a practical approach to change. The combination of his hands on experience gained in the years he worked in a multitude of positions in the FS industry, coupled with his consulting experience and innate problem solving capability has led to a string of successful work and happy clients.
